Question
Light that is incident upon the eye is refracted several timesbefore it reaches the retina. As light passes through the eye, atwhich boundary does the majority of the overall refractionoccur?a. vitreous humor/retina
b. lens/vitreous humor
c. air/cornea
d. aqueous humor/iris
e. lens/aqueous humor Light that is incident upon the eye is refracted several timesbefore it reaches the retina. As light passes through the eye, atwhich boundary does the majority of the overall refractionoccur? vitreous humor/retina lens/vitreous humor air/cornea aqueous humor/iris lens/aqueous humor
Explanation / Answer
if anything, process of elimination. not a becuause thequestion says before the retina, so the retina wouldnt be ananswer. not c because light would not refract in air comparedto everything else. not d because light doesntactually pass throught the iris. i suppose possibly e eventhough i have never heard of the aqueous humor and i would thinksomething vitreous would have a higher index of refraction thansomething aqueous.
