Question

Thank you again very-very much your aswers. You sent me 3times. Here I am with a new question. Please see againyour fantastic answer to me dated 1/7/09 about the judothrowing. Here is what you wrote for me:
(1) Thus the force needed to start the throwing process is maximums is Fstart = fmax =s (686N/cos 30)
= s (792.14 N) ----(1) Question : Ihope I have to use the (s = 1.16) & tomultiply with the 792.14 N to receive the complete answer ???
2) What do you mean "Substitute the value ofsin equation (1) and solve forFstart. Do you mean it is the same reasoning whatjust I wrote in the nr. (1) of my statement above.???
I hope I understood everything.
Dear Albert I do not care if probably you say in your mind' What astupid person I am" it is better for me you to say and not somebodyelse of my associates.
Thank you very-very much. I am waiting for your reply.
Yours sincerely
Emeric

Explanation / Answer

Yes , what you expected is right.Substitute the value of sinequation (1) and solve for Fstart givesthe same meaning what you wrote in nr. (1).
Thus you have to use the (s = 1.16)& to multiply with the 792.14 N to receive the completeanswer .
