Imagine... You and the person sitting next to you are landscape architects. The City of Pullman has asked you to come up with a design idea for this .4 acre plot of land on Grand Ave. The site is in a commercial zone, near downtown, the university, and adjacent to various residential areas. With your partner, do the following. 1. Decide what the site will be. Consider all you've learned about the work of landscape architecture thus far and draw from your own experience as a citizen of the built environment. The site could be an outdoor classroom or a food cart hub or a labyrinth or a skatepark or a wildflower garden, or or or. You decide. 2. To make your idea reality, speculate about what you would have to learn about the site and its surroundings (soil, slope, weather, traffic, demographics, waterbodies, history, roadways, etc. etc.). 3. Given what you think you will need to learn, identify the types of collaborators you will need (architects, interior designers, construction managers, engineers, botanists, artists, developers, marketers, etc. etc). 4. Describe how your design idea can improve the quality of life for Pullman.Explanation / Answer
The site can be developed in such a way that all community including college, residential colony can get benefited.At the same time no body can negatively affected by the development of this site.
The site can be use for the development of big Bazar in the first floor of which there is big cinema hall. And in the ground floor their is a shop containing all daily needs items including the book shop and restaurant. As the site is on the road ways, this is a good business opportunity project. By the development of the site this ways all can get benefited.
The members that requires in our teams are
geologist, surveyor, civil engineer, geologist, Economist, environmentalist, architecture. All play there own role.
