A cyclist approaching the truck with a constant velocity of 10.8 m/s is 9.90 m behind the truck when the light turns green. What is the elapsed time from the changing of the light to when the cyclist passes the truck?

I have used 2.3t^2=10.8t-9.9 and got an answer of 1.25, but when I input this answer into the assignment it came up as incorrect. What can I do to get the right answer?
