Question

A projectile is launched from ground level to the top of thecliff which is 195m away and 155m high. If the projectile lands ontop of the cliff 7.6s after it is fixed. Find the initial velocityof the proectile (magnitude and direction) Neglect airresistance.
When I get to this part I get a very different answer couldyou explain to me what I'm doing wrong? h=(Vosin0)x 7.6 -1/2x9.80x7.6^2 I don't get 57.63. Could you set it up for me andanswer it in detail. Thank you for all your help inadvance. A projectile is launched from ground level to the top of thecliff which is 195m away and 155m high. Explanation / Answer

in horizontal direction their is no acceleration hence thehorizontal speed must be 195/7.6 = 25.6579 m/sec in vertical direction we have a acceleration in negative ydirection of 10 m/sec^2 thus 195 = V7.6-10*7.6*7.6/2 so v = 63.6579 i think the answer will not be 57.63 it might be a mispriontin the book
