The first car has a mass of 2100 kg and is traveling 15 m/s north, while the second has a mass of 1250 and is traveling at 55 m/s cast. When they reach the intersection, they both see a green light and crash into each other! (a) If they collide and stick together, what direction will they be traveling right after the collision? (Give an angle with respect to either north or east). (b) What will the speed of the two cars moving together be, right after the collision?

momentum in first car driving direction = 2100 * 15 = 31500 kg m/s

momentum in second car direction = 1250*55 = 68750 kg m/s

since momentum is more in second cars direction so fiall y they will move in second's direction

b velocity = momentum / mass

combined velcity v = (68750 - 31500)/(1250+2100)

= 11.12 m/s
