(a) : The minimum easting of the map is found to be 513000 mE. Left edge bounded by minimum easting.

(b) : Minimum northing found to be 492300 mN. Bottom edge is bound by minimum northing.

(c) : the central meridian or reference projection meridian is on the West/left side of the map.

Part : 2 :

(a) : Length of side of square is 7 cm on map. Therefore, a5 is 7cm.

(b) : In 1 km there are 100000cm therefore, b5 = 100000 cm.

(c) : Dividing b5/a5 we will get 14285.71.

Which means e5 = 14285.71.

Therefore 1 cm on map represent 14285.71 cm on ground.
