Write the equation of the geaph c. what is the mass of 1 88 of 1 cubic centimeter of the d, Nhat is the volume of; 5 grams (11) 32 grams ; (iii) 75 gzana?

Explanation / Answer

As mass/volume is density and density of a metal is a constant so for all the readings you should get approximately same value of density.

For example see the first reading, M/V = 8.2;

see the second reading, M/V = 8.14

the last reading, M/V = 8.25 etc

All you have to do is to draw an M-V graph that is take mass on the y axis and volume on the x axis.

Now, y/x of any graph gives slope. Here y=M and x=V, so y/x = M/V = density which is a constant.

thus the slope of this graph will be a constant which means a straight line. So plot the readings and you will observe a straight line joining all the points.
