Station plots are illustrations that show the weather the given meassuring station.

1. Temperature - Shown on the upper left corner - 270 F

2. Dewpoint temperature - Shown on the lower left corner - 250 F

3. Wind direction - Coming from East

The wind barb shows both direction and speed. The flags face the direction from which winds are blowing.

4. Current weather - heavy snow

The asterix (*) symbol denotes snow, if only 2 asterix, it means light snow, 3 asterix means moderate snow and 4 asterix means heavy snow.

5. Barometric preassure - given at the top right corner - 997.3 mb

Usually this'll be given in the plot as 973, but here it is given directly with the decimal point.

6. Barometric preassure trend is falling

the backslash () represents falling barometric preassure.

7. Current sky condition - completely cloudy

The circle in the middle represents cloud cover. Completely shaded circle means full cloud cover and empty circle means clear sky.

8. The magntude of the preassure trend - 2.1 mb

Shown below the preassure trend symbol (), the minus sign indicates it has fallen down

9. Wind speed - 15 knots

Each full flag on the wind barb denotes 10 knots and half flags denotes 5 knots. Here on the wind barb, there is one full flag and on half flag.
