Explanation / Answer

Here ,

acceleration ,a = -3.41 m/s^2

a) let the time taken is t

Using first equation of motion

v = u + a * t

0 = 21.1 - 3.41 * t

t = 6.19 s

the time taken is 6.19 s

b)

Using second equation of motion

disance travelled = u * t - 0.5 * a * t^2

disance travelled = 21.1 * 6.19 - 0.5 *3.41 * 6.19^2

disance travelled = 65.3 m
