PART A
The principal quantum number is : n = 7
PART B
The energy of that state is: E = -13.606 eV/n2 = -13.606 eV /(49) = - 0.278 eV
PART D
The quantum number l is: l = n -1 ::::::: l = 6
PART C
The orbital angular momentum is: L = (l ( l+1 ) )1/2 = (6(6 + 1))1/2 = 6.481
PART E
The possible values for the magnetic quantum number are:
m goes from -l to l including zero, so:
m = -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
