A1 *V1 = A2 *V2

v2 / v1 = A1 /A2 = 2* pi * (5.45/2)^2 *10-4 / 2* pi * (2.17/2)^2 *10-4 = 5.45^2 / 2.17^2 = 29.70 / 4.71 = 6.31

v2 = 6.31 * v1 Hence the speed of flow at location 2 is higher than 1.

B) If v1 = 1.67 m/s then v2 = 6.31 * 1.67 = 10.54 m/s
