For the “AFTER', situation, use Gauss' Law to find the following ( a. The electric field values (both magnitude and direction) in each of the regions 1,2 and 3. b· The surface charge densities on the two sides of the plate.Explanation / Answer
b) the surface charge density on lower surface of the plateplate = +3*neta/2
= +1.5*neta
the surface charge density on upper plate = -neta/2
here charge is redistributed in such a way that electric field inside the conducting slab is zero.
