Question: What happens when you squezze the following bottle with no water, all air bottle with half water, ... what happens when you squezze the following bottle with no water, all air bottle with half water, half air bottle with all water, all air.I need to make a Claim i know what happens but i need to make a claim for all 3 observation

ok i jsut need a claim on all three the bottle is all covered no water, half water, all water. i need a scientific calim as to why you can compress it or why the water moves to fill the vacant space and lastly why you can not compress the last one.

1 bottle covered no water

2 bottle covered half water

3 bottle covered all water

Explanation / Answer

SCIENTIFIC CLAIM

Air is more compressible than water because there is more space between molecules of gases.

EVIDENCE

When we squeeze three different bottles with

REASONING

This is because air is a mixture of gases and it is easier to compress gas. Gases have lot of space between their molecules. So, it can be pressurized to fit small volume. As we squeeze, the pressure increases and volume decreases.

Water is a liquid. Liquid molecules have very less space between them. It is therefore difficult to compress them.
