Written in Order of Priority. Please help

Two polarizers are oriented at 32o to each other and a polarized light is incident on them. If only 26 percent of the light gets through both of them, what is the angle between the initial polarization direction of the incident light and the first polarizer?

A circular loop in the plane of the paper lies in a 0.45 T magnetic field pointing into the paper. The resistance of the coil is 2.25 . If the loop's diameter changes from 21.5 cm to 4.50 cm in 0.30 s, what is the average induced current in milli-amps?
mA

A rectangular loop (a = 0.12 m, b = 0.48 m) is pushed into a space where there is uniform magnetic field with a speed of 4.80 m/s.
a) What is the induced current in the rod if the magnetic field is uniform and has a magnitude of 7.00 T, and the resistance of the loop is 40.0 ?

Explanation / Answer

given,

angle between first and second polarizer = 32 degree

26 percent light gets through both the polarizers

so after passing thtough first polarizer

I1 = I * cos^2(theta)

after passing through second polarizer

I2 = I1 * cos^2(32)

since I2 = 0.26 * I

so,

0.26 * I = I * cos^2(theta) * cos^2(32)

cos(theta) = sqrt(0.26 / cos^2(32))

theta = 53.04 degree

the angle between the initial polarization direction of the incident light and the first polarizer = 53.04 degree
