The coil is pulled out at a steady rate of 2 00 cm/s traveling perpendicular to the field lines. The region of the field ends abruptly as shown. This could be determined by using the formula of motional emf

emf = VBL = 2(10-2)(1.25)(40)(10-2)

emf = 0.01V
