Our plucky hero has volunteered to lure it to secert military base in the Antarctic where a special weapon has just been completed to destroy the horrible creature. she has managed to make it across the horizontal, frictionless icy wastes in a 1000kg sled almost all of the way to the base, but the sled dogs has collapsed from exhaustion just before the last (sloped, frictionless) hill that rises just 2.0m. on the other side of that hill is the valley where the base is hidden. if she can just get her sled over the hill, the earth will be saved. the creature is close behind her though, and it spits a huge sticky glob of mucus at the sled.

a) if the slop of sticky goo hass mass 500kg and strikes the sled head-on at a speed of 20m/sec, will it push our hero to the safety?

b) the gaint alien slime monster is no fool however, and is well versed in the laws of physics. it quickly calculates the maximum velocity with which it may spit its slimy mucus weapon so thats its dinner will not escape. what is that velocity?
