Now energy U = 0.5 m1u1^2 + 0.5 m2u2^2 = 890 J


0.5* 1.5 * 0.153* 0.152 * V^2 + 0.5 * 0.23 * V^2 = 890


(0.01744 + 0.115)V^2 = 890

V2 = VB = 82 m/s


so V1 = VA = 0.153 * 82 = 12.57 m/s

use Y = Voyt - 0.5 gt^2

80 = 0.5 gt^2

t = sqrt(2* 80/9.8)

t = 4.04 secs

D = X1 +X2

D = (82* 4.04) + (12.57* 4.04)

D = 382.06 m
