a) using wf = wi + alpha*t

27.5 =3.5 + alpha*0.85

alpha = 28.23 rad/s^2

b) v = w r

r = 0.75m

angular veocity at time of release w = 27.5 rad/s

v = 27.5 x 0.75 = 20.625 m/s

c) Radial acc. = w^2 r = 27.5^2 * 0.75 =567.19 rad/s^2
