a. Vitamin act as coenzymes. This means they are necessary for the catalysis reaction of the enzyme involved in aerobic respiration pathways viz glycolysis, Kreb cycle, electron transport chain. Hence, if vitamin and cofactor pathway become dysfunctional , then ATP will not be produced in sufficient amount and less energy will be produced in the form of ATP.
