Three questions I'm really struggling with..please help thank you!!:
1. A skier traveling at 27.3 m/s encounters a 14 degree slope. If you could ignore friction to the nearest meter how far up the hill does she go? (I got the answer to this : 157) If the coefficient of kinetic friction in the previous problem was actually 0.17, to the nearest meter how far up the hill does she go?
If the spring in the figure in the previous problem has a spring constant of 570 N/m, to the nearest tenth of a cm how far is it stretched? I keep trying this and getting the wrong answer.
