3) document the prefix and suffix. Flash Card Table Medical Term Definition Prefix. This is an exercise to determine if you can select medical terms from a record, and break them down into parts. All medical terms should be included, to include cells, clinician names, diseases, and disorders. There are a specific number of terms in each section, but the total words available are numerous!!! You do not have to repeat terms that are listed more than once, in different areas of the record. However, do not place any chemical/lab terms or medications into the chart (i.e. potassium, chloride, protimes, sodium, Symmatrel, Parafon Forte, etc.)
