Apply 1/f = 1/p + 1/q for the first lens.

1/3.7 = 1/12 + 1/q

q = 5.35 cm

Therefore the distance between the lenses for the case of have a same size and orientation image is twice the above value.

2(5.35) = 10.7 cm
