For example let us take the daily practice of a laboratory medicine doctor. The medical practioner will always have a laptop or a high end android phone. The laptop and phone is important for viewing daily reports of the patients, The doctor will view theses reports daily and approve them for dispatch. Only after his or her authorization will the reports be shared with the patient or his physician. In this way, for any reason if the lab doctor has to attend to some other work elsewhere, he or she just has to carry his / her android phone and access and sign out these reports. Hence quality of reporting and turn around time of theses reports are not affected. The ony disadvantage of these devices will be a constant iternet connection is required. In outskirts and rural areas internet connectivity may be slow and hence reporting may be affected.

All organizations with respect to laboratory operations mandate these practises and doctors are also tuned to this type of working environment. If the practioner refuses to use this technology then it will become difficult for the doctor to verify reports and reports will be delayed. A lot of errors with manual reporting can surface and hence use of a good software with access to phone is always advocated.
