Fluid losses are related to burn injuries and dehrdration should be avoided for for the period of 24 hours.
1) Urine excretion of 1-2 ml/kg need to be maintained in childrens.
2) Around 4 to 5 mL (Hartmann's solution per kg of body weight per percentage of total surface area) are administrated in childrens by dividing the volume in two shifts of 8 to 16 hours interval timings as a replacement fluid .
3) Along with above solution maintaince fluid 0.45 percentage of saline and 5 percentage of dextrose is administrated depending upon the body weight.
