I need an answers for those questions:
1- Have you noticed a significant increase in your awareness of stress and anxiety in yourself or others since you have been attending college, or is it the same as high school or when you were working? ( for this answer, I am a student right now. I didn't work before)
2- Is stress causing you to have irregular or disturbed sleep that is affecting your life? (for this answer, YES)
3- What strategies do you find the best to relieve your own stress?
4- Have you ever thought about the mind-body relationship and the possibility that the mind can cause illness or distress in the body - or is this a new idea to you? As part of your post, please find and post an on-line resource that will help us all understand more about the effect of the mind on our health. Explanation / Answer
1. As far as my experience stress and anxiety is directly proportional to your age. When you are child there is no goal and responsibilities on you, you are free due to which in that time you play a lot of game, you have time with your buddy and on small small things you become happy like if your parents purchase new clothes for you or new book, mobile or computer for you , you become happy. But when you come to college your mind setup change you are worry about your education and your future goals that make somewhat tense and stress condition in you. Whenever you are working man then it is double in you because of that you fail to sleep well and to perform your daily task. In this days your awareness increase how to get rid of this matter and how to solved each and every problem.
2. Yes stress causing disturbed sleep because to sleep your body and mind should be in sate of relaxation though your body is relax on bed but your brain in working mode means fail to sleep only. Stress causes worry in man and women due to which he is unable to focus on health .
3. If this stress is long lasting them definitely it give you bunch of disease. To come out of this i forget to take tension and set one mind setup that god created me in this world for joyfully and happiness, though tension is there but for short period of time only. I involved in gym and other health programme.like yoga and good diet.
4. Yes mind causes illness in body because any disease to occur that is chronic disease , start from your mind only. Your mind think and worry and tension developed in you due to which you can't focus on the food , diet and sleep.
