Explanation / Answer

Patient has a history of 60 year old age, metastatic cancer and bind to her cultural perspective having pain also.

Cancer is a lethal disease and above mentioned patient is in old age so somewhat difficult to treat her specially when she is bind to cultural perspective. Following three problem associated with her

1. Old age

2. Cultural perspective

3. Pain management

1. Old age is a big problem because patient body do not respond to the treatment specially when she is suffered from major diseases. In cancer treatment we have to go on anticaner drug , radiology and biotech product. All are protein and having side effects so we have to be extra care to treat her

2. Culture perspective also a big problem because of that she is not getting full fledged rest or her family is unable to concentrate on her for treatmentDue. Everyday she is going to church and in this old age with such a disease it is not easy to do all this.

3. Pain management in this case require narcotic analgesic which produce lethargy in a patient so we should be cautious because she has to follow her cultural perspective also.

To reduce the pain we have to motivate her that her health is important and rest is necessary to reduce the pain.
