1. the auther conducted the study to explain the salutary effect of mediterranean diet pattern on cardiovascular disease prevention. He tested the effect of two mediterranean diet- one supplimented with extra-virgin olive oil and another with nuts with a control low fat diet.
2a. The auther selected a multi-centered randamised parrallel group for the study which designed to devide them into three separate groups.
2b.The research methodology that the auther used in his research was collecting and disseminating the data on food safety nutrition and health which reduce the gap between science and communication

In the trial test result shows mediterranean diet supplimented with either extra-virgin olive oil or nuts resulted a reduction of approximately 30% cardiovascular risk among high risk person who are initially free of cardiovascular diseases.also his results support the benefit of mediterranean diet forcardiovscular diseases. so the research design was fit for his study.
