According to the map legend, any counties on the map colored green are currently under [ ] flood-related alert [ ] tropical storm warning hazardous weather alert Click on an area on the map with a watch, warning or other alert. This will direct you to the service area of a NWS Forecast Office. On the map that appears, click on a named location marked by a (*) in the area color coded for the alert to call up the local forecast page for that location. Under the heading Current Hazards, you can find Hazardous Weather Outlooks and other hazardous weather information. The local forecast page you are viewing is representative of those you can call up for any U.S. location.

6)It takes 7 days from the date of issued.In the map it is coming for example December,19 is the issued date.I t can be valid up to 7 days after the date of issue that is Dec 26.
