Explanation / Answer

SOLUTION:-10.

A glacier moving down through the valley eroding the sides. It does this by plucking and abrasion as it moves from an upland area downwards. A glacier is very powerful so it takes any rock with it wheter it it hard or soft where as a river would find a way around the hard rock.. If the climate gets colder and the valley fills with ice the glacier will rip rocks from the sides as well as the bottom of the valley. This will widen the valley and change it’s shape. the diagram represent U-shaped glacier.
