Answer-
Due to the historically existing scenario of the Great Depression the citizens of the United States had to face great deal of hardships both at societal and economic level. The Great Depression resulted into shutting down of industries, loss of job, loss of food, no manufacturing and hence no production or very less production inside the economy. the new deal by Roosevelt administration was done to bring America out of the depression. Major provisions of the new deal were banking Reform law, emergency relief programs work relief program and Agriculture program. All these programs were launched to establish administration inside the country, provide food to people, provide societal guidance and support to the poor and establish a sense of security amongst the citizens.
Post the new deal there were several other new deals nothing but modifications of the first one, next deal included extreme relief all disaster management system and focused on labour and Employment generation.
The hardships faced by the American citizen was not just at individual or at the citizen level but it was society wide and affected the whole Nation. Not just one single community was affected by it but whole group of racially discriminated were affected by it. The discriminated races were left out of the main groups, work and companies. They were not provided the basic amenities and the life of such people were worse than that of the animals.
