Explanation / Answer

1. Acording to the graph given, the gini coefficient is around 0.42. Lower levels of index indicate a higher level of equallity , that is ,less inequalities. Since we are looking fro inter country comparison. with the graph we can see that US is somewhere in the middle showing a moderate inequality compared to others. Although the coefficient is high, relatively US looks better off than the countires above it and worse from that below.

2. From the look of the graph, US seems to be an outlier with countries it has been compared with.Us has the highest infant mortality rat ecompared to other countries.

3. Putting a graph creates a disadvanatge as to what were the causes behind the numbers being what they are. Pehaps i would take into accoutn other indices such as HDI,happiness index, PQLI, Pollution leves, socio-economic structure to assess the true state and the reasons behind that for a particular country i wish to study.

4.Assuming from the graph that MI at somewhere in between 77.5 and 78.5 is minnesota. Gini coefficint is aroiund 0.451. With the scale taken ,the state is in the midde part showing that it has moderate inequality and similary a moderate(mean) anount of life expectancy too.

5. Coudnt find any.
