Mandate system was developed by leading nations after the first world war , it gave them a power to rule over the enemy colonies.These colonies were then names as mandates and country ruling was names as mandatory.Therefore , countries in power benefitted from these rule set up in article 22 of covenant in league of nations. The defeated countries were controlled by the allies as they could not work independently. Thus, they were governed by super power and work under their supervision.
