In this question we have to find the Forecast for the First Week in June using the Five Week Moving Average.

Now , It is clearly given that Five Week Moving Average is used. So to find the Forecast of 9th Period ( See t = 9 in the Table ) , We have to calculate the Average of Preceeding 5 Weeks .

So Let's find the Average

= (206 +196+211+207+212) ÷ 5 = 206.40

Hence the forecast for First Week in June is 206.40
