Ans. The news story which I choose to discuss here is on the issue of Foreign Policy . It's related to the Impositions of the sanctions on Iran which were waved or put down.

Coming to the issue , let's begin our summary.
U.S.A has again decided to impose several sanctions on Iran which were earlier lifted under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Reasons given by US in this regard are many manifold and include : Iran using the funding given to them to promote terrorism , destabilization of the region and human Rights violation. US has also pulled out from Iran Deal stating the reason that it is not in the interest of Americans and also compromise their National Security. US is very cautious that Iran does not indulge into any Nuclear Activity and conduct any Nuclear Test. For stopping this, US has imposed serious sanctions like : Iran's trade in gold and other precious metals , Iran's automative sector etc. Sanctions have been laid down in 2 wind down periods of 90 days and 180 days.
These sanctions are a huge blow to the Government of Iran and have been criticized by them.
This news report is very important in respect to the Foreign Policy of USA and it will have various impacts on other countries as well . Because friendly nations of USA would also not resort to trade with Iran.
