Factors such as amount of healthcare available, life expectancies play roles in this. Fertility rates are higher in less developed countries, making the median age lower.

4. Rate of natural increase- difference between death and birth. If rate of natural increase is 0, then we wont have a population change. Higher fertility rate gives us a higher rate of natural increase.
