Question
Read and answer the following questions. What is a kiloton, when we talk about destructive power of a bomb? Formulate a hypothesis that logically aligns with my aims and experimental procedures What are the variables in this experiment? 3.1. Independent variables. 3. 2. Dependent or response variables. What results do you expect for the type of bomb and type of radioactive elements in terms of destruction (e. g., small, medium or large) and amount of radioactive material left in the environment after 15 years (show your math calculations for Big Guy and Little Guy)? What is your conclusion based on your results?Explanation / Answer
1. For modern nuclear weapons, to measure there nuclear power the most common measure used is "Kiloton". It is the amount of energy released from te blast of 1000 tons of TNT. The energy measurement of TNT during blast is always a problem, so conventionally the 1000 tons of TNT produces 1012 calories or is equivalent to that amount of energy.
It is a common measure used for the measurement of destructive power of any bomb.
Please ask the rest of the questions in separate questionnaire.
Please ensure that you include the experiment details and the aims of the experiment for the next questions.
