Explanation / Answer

The main reason behind high homicide rate in USA is a stressed life. The lifestyle of Americans is become more and more busy and hectic. Hence they do not get adequate time to spend with their family and children. Intense financial stress and long absences from home make it much more difficult for American parents to provide the nurturing, guidance and non-violent discipline that children need. This can lead to anger, depression, emotional detachment, lack of empathy in children and less impulse control among children.

Socialization is important for reducing the crime rate in any country. Socialization develops a healthy friendship and a sense of togetherness among people. Hence it reduces the feelings of hatered and enimity. Thus socialization reduces the chance of violent crimes among people.
