Risks associated with ERP can be unrealistic planning, poor methodology, insufficient resources, poor communication, insufficient knowledge transfer etc. These risks can be mitigated or avoided by taking support from the executive staff which will provide direction and motivation and thus optimal resource distribution. One can also go according to the priorities and making budgets so that operation of ERP can be efficient. Also enthusiastic and properly balanced team should be there should that ERP implementation can be successful.
