a) 1. Improve agriculture productivity.

2. Increase transfer payment

3. Skill your population and make them capable

4. Remove corruption.

b) Government must increase productivity and thus production. Indian agricultural productivity and thus production is very low in comparison to countries like China and America. India must learn from America how can they improve productivity through efficient use of labour .

Increase the transfer payments to poor so that they can demand food . Many people in India go to bed without eating because they didn't have money to purchase food . So the government must transfer money or they can start the in-kind programmes Ike distribution of food grains or food stamps through government shops. l this government has to increase its revenue .

Why Indian citizens are hungry ? Answer is their poverty . What is main cause of poverty ? Poverty stems when you can't do anything . So government must try to end this poverty by skilling their population . This can be done by making primary education compulsory. Government must start programmes which make their population capable to earn.

In India their is huge corruption . If government plans to give 1 dollar to every citizen to spend then only 5 cents would. reach the consumer . So in such a worse scenario if government really want to do something appreciable it has to end corruption prevalent in system.

I will recommend goal 2 i.e End hunger , achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
