Question

--What type of metamorphism would you expect to be occurring now at a depth of 30 km in the Himalaya?Brutal metamorphism and or Contact metamorphism and or Dynamic metamorphism and or Hydrothermal methamorphism and or Regional methamorphism and or Shock methamorphism? --What is its metamorphic facies of Amthibolite? Amthibolte is metamorphosed basalt. It contains green amphibole and plagioclase. What is its metamorphic facies? Amthibolite faces or Blueschist facies, or Eclogite faces, or Granulite facies, or Hornfels facies? ---By which process Amthibolite most likely to have been metamorphosed? Firt-related contact methamorphism or Collisional orogenesis or Subduction metamorphism? ----Which process/es bring/s metamorphic rocks to the surface by primarily horizontal motion? Erosion and or Exhumation and or Extensional collaps and or Tectonic uplift?

Explanation / Answer

Himalayas are the one of the large mountain range in the world. it is situated from the himachal pradesh to assam in the india. it is at the north of india. this mountains are at great height from the sea levels and full of snow on the rocks. these mountains of himalays protect the india from the snow and cold wind flowinf from the artic region to the india and it south sub continents. the types of metamorphosis found there are include schist, migmattiteand amphibolite. it rocks also consist of garnets.

The metamorphic facies of amthibolites are such that they consist of metamorphosis whose composition have been change by the actions of heat, pressures and chemical processes. metamorphic facies are the aets of metamorphic minerals which formed under similar temperature and pressures. the processes which most likely to be responsible for the metamorphosis of amthibolites are due to regional metamorphism and the regional pressures applied to fome them and termed as the collisional metamorphism.erosion is the process which is responsible for the metamorphic rock to the surface by primary horizontal motion.
