Bad economy is one of the changing things in society. I also think the feminist movement has changed the way young women and men see each other. Women want equal earnings to men, they want equality for everyone. I think women feel the need to get married is less and less because there is now more of a chance to speak out and change society, they see themselves are being more independent and not needing a man to rely on or to support them financially because they make their own money. I do not necessarily think the decrease of marriages will affect society but more of the family structure many of us know. Having children out of wedlock is more likely to have an impact on children without married parents. Either parent can leave with ease, they will not face difficulty as they would if they were married. Children with unwed parents are more likely to be less productive as they grow older as well.

Yes I do agree with this discussion and accept that WOMEN DESERVE EQUAL PAY. For example both men and women are working for the same organization and also the same job where both work for equal number of hours, then why there is difference in the pay? This is what women have been fighting for because they don't want to depend on someone and make their own money.
Due to the changes in everyday life everything is becoming expensive right from house rent, mortgage etc. So gone are those days where a single parent money is sufficient to run the entire family. Right now both men and women should work and earn money for their children and family. And also marriage is not a compulsion for women too. There are few men who just look to cheat ladies and marry multiple people, that particular person will just leave her alone after he finds any other women. Then what about this lady situation? Who is responsible for her child? In this point of view I personally think that women face much difficulty to bring up her child without anyone support. It depends on her moral values to stay strong and not revealing the child's father identity.
And I also personally believe that unwed parents before a growing kid is not at all good sign. The children have huge impact in their future and decrease of marriages may not affect society but it has some slight affect in family itself. For example if they fight for no reason, one among the two feel free to step out and this can seriously affect children future. So my conclusion for this discussion would be like... Women should be treated equally at work place along with men and equal earnings should be implemented and women are not to be treated like servant maid in homes who are just to cook, work and keep home clean. The present situation is completely changed and both the parents must work for their children.
