One of the most powerful parts of a case against a criminal can be the forensic evidence that is collected and presented. Dramatic breakthroughs in both the scientific and technological fields have greatly impacted the criminal justice system.

A recent crime wave has swept your city. Imagine you came home last night to find your house had been burglarized. Understandably, the police and crime lab are overworked and in need of help. Physical evidence (meaning any materials at the scene of the crime that could be valuable to a criminal case) was collected by crime scene technicians at the house and from a possible getaway car and is listed below. You will need to:

FORENSIC: Forensic is defined as applying scientific knowledge to legal problems or crime scenes. Forensic sciences is the group of scientists applying science to criminal investigations where the group go to the crime scene and collect, preserve all the evidences and conduct tests in laboratory and solve the case and submit the results to court.

THE IMPORTANT EVIDENCES: The three major evidences from the list above in this scene are:

PHYSICAL EVIDENCE is the main important role in identification and forensic team always consider and try to find out any physical evidence available in that particular crime scene. There are wide variety of physical evidences like... BLOOD, SALIVA and any clothing material.

The second most important piece of evidence in this scenario is LATENT PRINTS and the major latent prints FINGERPRINTS are considered. People doing crimes in recent days are adavnced and using latest techniques and take care that they don't leave any kind of evidence. But Forensic department is also very much updated to latest technology and can easily find out fingerprints left by the criminals in the scene.

The other main evidence is finding out any genetical material like HAIR SCALPS in the area of crime scene or any weapons left by the criminals. As the crime was taken place in a residential area so probably any cctv footage near by can be taken by Forensic department.

All the collected proofs are carefully examined by group of forensic team members and the reports are to be carefully DOCUMENTED along with case file and submitted to court. Forensic team have relatively high rate of success from many years in solving critical crime scenes.
