According to Badian,Alexander cannot be fully quoted as a bad man or fully quoted as a good person. While conquering nations,he killed each and everyone without partiality who stood against his path. Later when he was about to die to very tectonic disease,he said that I shpuld be buried with my hands outside the coffin because people should realize that whatever they earn at last they cannot take anything from this world.
Badian had a situation to take up his education in other country from his home town. During the invasion by Nazis,Badian could have felt the difficulties prevailing in the nation and he would have compared his own situation to the time the nation being conquered by Alexander in a different way.
Alexander was right on his point if view. If he had an idea of conquering a nation,he would make necessary arrangements that even a single slip doesnt take place in his attempt. But he does not give importance to other activities taking place around as he is fully concentrated on his own target.
Alexander when treated as a common man he did his work as a king. During his death he realized his mistakes and said that after death whatever may be the wealth acquired,no one can taje it along with them and it was a very big saying and realization in his history.
