Explore your surroundings at home or at work and find an organic compound that is used for a specific purpose. Organic compounds are used in virtually every setting. Discuss how the organic molecule is used, and after looking up its structure describe what type of organic molecule it is, i.e., what functional group family (families) it belongs.   

Example: Acetone, a ketone, is used as finger polish remover.

The student's initial post was at least 100 words.

The students post contained only minor spelling or grammatical errors

The student's post met all of the requirements in the directions

The student replied to at least one other students comment with a thoughtful response.

Commonly used orgnic molecule in daily life are as follow

1) Urea as a fertilizer in fields..

2) Books pages made of cellulose. cellulose is made up of carbohydrate family.

3) Bucket made up of PVC.

4)Wine made up ethylalchol. Ethylalchol belomgs to alchol family.

5) Tea consist caffeine. Caffeine belongs to purins family.

6) Milk consist lactose. lactose belong to carbohydrate family.
