I am almost sure the answer has to be A or C because only HIV-1 is found in the US. My textbook says that HIV-1 and HIV-2 is from sooty mangabey and chimpanzees. There is no option to pick that says HIV-1/chimpanzees and sooty mangabey. So I am not sure which one is the "most correct" answer.
