A. Draw a Punnett square for this cross.
B. Can these parents have a both normal son and daughter (non-colorblind)?
4. Can a female of blood type AB and a type A father have a type B child? Show your work with a Punnett square. (2 pt)
Is it possible (yes/no)?:
5. An individual with Type AB blood donated blood to someone with Type O blood. Will this be ok? If not, what happens in the recipient (what do they make)? (2 pt)
Explanation / Answer
a) Answer:
As in the given question the mother is not the carrier she is having the colorblindness that means her both X chromosomes are recessive that means there are no normal X chromosome which that dominate the recessive X chromosome that means her both X chromosome are Xa and Father is not suffering from color blindness that means he is having normal XA chromosome and Y chromosome

So as given in the punnett square here lies the answer of B part.
B)The daugher may not be colorblind she will only having the carrier of colorblind disease on her one of the X chromosome but in the case of the son there is the 100% chance that the son may suffer from colorblindness disease because he is having only onr X chromosome which is having colorblindness and there is no other normal X chromosme which can dominate this recessive X chromosome.
4)Answer:
If female is type AB blood group and father is of type A then:
So from the given punnett square we can see that there are 25%chance that the child will have type AB, 25% chance that the chile will have A type, and 50% chance that the child will have B type of the blood group. so yes it is possible that the child might have B type of blood group.
5 Answer)
No the individual with type AB cannot donate to someone with type O. the type AB individual can only donate to the other individual having the blood group of type AB only because. because if the incompatible blood is donated the cells in the acceptor body will react to this donated blood as foreign material and will not accept it and will result in the attack of the immune system and may also result in the formation of the clots in the blood which result in heart attack, shock, etc.
