Question
What is the concentration of the dye in a solution witha percent transmittance reading of 40.2% at 640 nm?
Need help answering B and C of the following questions below. I included the chart. Please show work so I can understand this for my exam. Thank you.

(b) What is the concentration of the dye in a solution with a percent transmitance reading of 40.2% at 640 nm? cent transmittance (e) If the solution in Part B was made by taking 20.00 mL of a stock solution and diluting it to 100.00 mL, what is the concentration of the dye in the stock solution?Explanation / Answer
b) From Beer Lambert Law we have,
A = 2 - log10 (%T)
%T = 40.2
A = 2 - log10 (40.2) = 0.396
From the plot in part A, y = 0.0939x - 0.0056
0.396 = 0.0939x - 0.0056
Concentration, x = 4.27 mM
c)
Concentration of dye in stock solution = x * 100 / 20 mM
= 4.27 * 100 / 20 = 21.37 mM
