Question
I am writing my Chem Lab report about the dry ice experiment to measure the molar mass of CO2 using ideal gas law. I got a question, and I do not know how to answer it.It says:
"By the way, what are you assuming about the behavior of the carbon dioxide?"
Please help.

Explanation / Answer
Ideal gas equation : PV = nRT
simply weighing the carbon dioxide is difficult and least feasible. we need to figure out the mass of the air inside the flask and substract that off mass of the flask.
Dry ice is carbon dioxide sublimation at temperature -78.5oC. therefore the solid form is used to measure the molar mass
moreover, CO2 is heavier than air
