Question
The objective of this activity to critically think about microbial clinical results. Share a story, or create a scenario, or use a combination. The response must be related to microbiology, but doesn't need to be a differential test to allow some flexibility.
Think of a time you were given microbial lab results, from a clinic, hospital, veterinary clinic, or elsewhere. It could be dealing with yourself, a family member or friend, or from an occupation. Write about the results, what method was used, how these were interpreted, and the possibility that the interpretation was wrong (by a false reading or inaccurate interpretation) or why there was a high degree of confidence in the result.
Write a minimum of 5 complete sentences. You may "make up" any or all results and relationships as needed for privacy. Stating if the information was created or true is optional. Any replies to other student posts are optional.

Explanation / Answer
1) few years back I had the symptoms of fever and weakness. Went to the doctor and he suggested to do the blood report and the test report had the low rbc count and I was diagnosed with MALARIA because of the fever and low blood cells count. Medicines were given of the malaria. After taking medicines for one day I wasn't feeling any relief so I again went and did the repot again and blood cell count was normal. The previous report was not accurate because they had done mistakes in doing HAEMOCYTOMETER COUNT for RBC. And because of medicine of malaria it got even worse. After taking advice from another doctor I was diagnosed with the JAUNDICE. Because of the fever and the low blood cell count and mistake in laboratory I was wrongly diagnosed.
